Location: Collecting on the Buckwheat Dump, at the Franklin Mineral Museum.

Time: 9:00 AM to Noon – F.O.M.S. Field Trip Collecting on the Buckwheat Dump
10:00 AM to Noon – F.O.M.S. Micro Group, Franklin Museum
1:30 PM to 3:30 PM – F.O.M.S. Meeting and Lecture “Mineral Oddities, Tucson 2009″ by Richard Bostwick at the Franklin Mineral Museum.
Note: Most F.O.M.S. field trips are open only to F.O.M.S. members aged 13 or older. Proper field trip gear is required, including hard hat, protective eyewear, gloves and sturdy shoes. Contact the Franklin Ogdensburg Mineralogical Society (F.O.M.S.) for further information at thecht@att.net.
